We are delighted to announce that as part of the Year of the Young Person 2018 (#YOYP2018), we will be taking 5 young people, aged 16-25, from North East Glasgow to Zambia, for a fortnight in July 2018.
The project will look at how young people in Zambia and Scotland access media (like TV, radio, Facebook and Snapchat) and how young people are portrayed on media, both professional and social. We will make a radio documentary to be shared on Bolt FM.
All costs have been covered. To apply to take part in this trip, you need to be nominated by a friend, teacher, minister or youth worker and complete a simple application. As part of the application, you will be asked which of the communities that we work in (Blackhill, Cranhill, Haghill, Royston and Ruchazie) that you represent.
There are three ways to find out more. The best way is to come along to one of our Bolt FM sessions in any of the five areas mentioned above. Alternatively, you can message us or e-mail – email@example.com
